Who we are

Purpose Recruitment is an Irish recruitment firm, founded in 2023, based in Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow, Ireland. We are the controller of personal data collected through this website. For privacy requests, email info@purposerecruitment.ie. This notice covers purposerecruitment.ie, the enquiry forms, CV uploads, and role listings. It is written in plain language. It is not legal advice, and it does not replace a client's own obligations.

What we collect

If you use a form, we collect the details you type: name, email, phone, company, the lane or role you mention, and your message. A CV, if you choose to upload one. The form works without a CV. The page you were on and the time you sent the form, so we can reply in context. A technical log of sign in attempts on the private editor, including IP address, used only to slow password guessing. A preference stored in your browser if you dismiss the cookie note. That preference is not sent to us. We do not buy contact lists. This website does not post to LinkedIn, send InMail, or run an outreach sequence. We do not use advertising trackers.

Why we use it, and the lawful basis

To reply to a message you sent us. The basis is our legitimate interest in answering you, and, where you are asking us to take steps before a contract, those steps. To consider you for a role you asked about. The basis is steps at your request before a contract. To introduce you to a client. We do this only with your explicit permission for that role. The basis is your consent. To keep the site secure. The basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the site and the people who use it. To meet a legal obligation, if one applies. You do not have to send a form. If you do not, we cannot reply to that enquiry.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry, and a CV uploaded with it, while the conversation is live and for up to 12 months after the last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or we must keep it longer to meet a legal obligation. The sign in log is used only to protect the editor. It is not used for marketing. The cookie note preference stays in your browser until you clear site data. We do not receive it.

Who else sees it

We do not sell personal data. Staff at Purpose Recruitment who need the message in order to reply can see it. A hosting provider processes it to run this site. If that host stores data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on an approved transfer mechanism and record it. We do not send your CV to a client without your explicit permission, for each role.

Decisions made by a machine

We do not make decisions about you by automated means, and we do not use profiling to decide whether to introduce you.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, deletion, or restriction. You can ask for a portable copy of data you gave us. You can object to a use based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect a use that was lawful before you withdrew it. Email info@purposerecruitment.ie. We may need to confirm it is you before we act. You can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland at dataprotection.ie.

Cookies

See the cookie notice. We do not use advertising cookies. The editor sign in cookie exists only after an editor logs in.

Changes

If this notice changes in a material way, we will update the date on this page. Last updated 1 October 2026.
